CORSIA

Also called Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation

The International Civil Aviation Organization's global scheme, adopted in 2016, under which airlines offset growth in international aviation emissions or cut them with eligible lower-carbon fuels. Its lifecycle values combine a core value with an ILUC value, amortized over 25 years against an 89 g CO₂e/MJ jet-fuel baseline.
